Celebrating Clarity’s Staff Education Day

On June 9th, 2023 members from both Lumea and Clarity Eye Institute gathered for a delightful blend of education, team building, and social events during our bi-annual Staff Education Day. From insightful lectures to a thrilling Murder Mystery, the event was a resounding success, leaving members inspired and motivated about the company’s growth trajectory.

Dr. Paul Sanghera shared his expertise, teaching team members about the history of cataract surgery and the pivotal role of the LAL (Light Adjustable Lens) in the surgery’s evolution. The presentation’s highlights included how remarkable advancements in the field continue to improve patient recovery time, and are leading to unprecedented visual outcomes. Clarity Eye was also honoured to have the distinguished Dr. Agnes Wong give a spectacular guest lecture on wellness for health care workers. 

Members from different clinical departments participated in knowledge exchanges allowing for team members to develop a holistic understanding of operations across the companies. 

Similar to previous events, the Staff Education Day was a resounding success, with feedback consistently touching on the applicability of new knowledge, and the benefit of educational social interactions for a positive team building culture.

Opening it’s doors in February 2023, Newmarket is a brand new state of the art, 5000 sq. ft. facility that was designed to allow for multiple eye care professionals to work together within a fully digital clinical ecosystem, including  EMR, diagnostics, and call center integration with the rest of the Clarity network.

After a renovation of the existing space, as well as an expansion into an adjacent one, we are proud to announce that Clarity Eye Roncy has been fully integrated in the company’s operations.
