Dr. Wallace Wong earned his Doctorate of Optometry from Western University of Health Sciences in California. He received training in the treatment and management of ocular health and disease at different private and community clinics in Michigan and Florida. He returned to practice in Midtown Toronto, where he previously worked as an ophthalmic assistant and technician. Dr. Wong’s practice style is centered around learning and education for the patient, and he will provide you with the knowledge to make the best decisions for your lifestyle needs.

Dr. Wong is highly experienced in contact lens fitting of soft and rigid gas permeable lenses for specialty conditions including high astigmatism, keratoconus, corneal disease, and myopia control. He has a passion for helping children see and learn better and is certified to provide myopia prevention contact lenses and MiyoSmart glasses while also providing Vision Therapy. Dr. Wong has a keen interest in ocular nutrition and wellness.

Dr. Wong is a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists (OAO), the Canadian Optometrists in Vision Therapy and Rehabilitation (COVT&R), and the American Academy of Orthokeratology & Myopia Control (AAOMC).

Dr. Wallace Wong was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario, and attended the University of Windsor. With strong ties to his family, he opened a weekend clinic in Windsor for pediatric and geriatric care.
