Dr. Graham Belovay MD

Dr. Graham Belovay is an ophthalmologist with a focus on glaucoma, complex cataracts, and anterior segment surgery. Upon completing his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Computing from Queens University, he completed his medical school training at the Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine at McMaster University.

After completing an ophthalmology research fellowship through the University of Toronto, he did his ophthalmology residency training at the University of Toronto. Dr. Belovay pursued his glaucoma fellowship at the Sydney Eye Hospital in Sydney, Australia and returned to Canada to join the Clarity Eye Institute. Dr. Belovay has hospital privileges at Southlake Hospital, Mackenzie Health, Markham-Stouffville Hospital (Oak Valley Health), Humber River Hospital and North York General Hospital.

Dr. Belovay is an adjunct Assistant Professor with Queen’s University and enjoys teaching medical students, residents and optometry students. Teaching at the Toronto Ophthalmology Resident Introductory Course for first year Canadian and International ophthalmology residents is one of his favourite activities, something he has been doing since completing his glaucoma fellowship. He has also presented at local, national, and international ophthalmology conferences and published research in major ophthalmology journals.
